Carl Larsson (Larsson) (1853-1919), a Swedish painter, graphic artist and writer. He studied at the Academy of Arts in Stockholm (1869-72). Author decorative panels and paintings on historical themes (fresco in the National Museum in Stockholm, 1894-1908), landscape, expressive portraits on drawing ("Oscar Levertin" 1906, Thiel Gallery, Stockholm), illustrations and caricatures albums with scenes of domestic life made in the technique of oil, watercolors, etchings ("My Family", 1895; "Larson", 1902).
