Sino-Canadian artist from Hong Kong, inspired by the Art Deco era. This design style that flourished in Paris in the 1920s and flourished throughout the world during the 1930s and in the era of World War II. The style influenced all areas of design, including architecture, interior design, industrial design, fashion, jewelry, and, of course, art, painting, drawing, film ... At the peak of popularity of Art Deco - is the embodiment of elegance , glamor and modernity, not devoid of functionality.
Bold, symmetrical lines in the paintings art deco depart from soft pastels and flowing asymmetrical shape of its predecessor - the modern. Although many design movements of that time had a political or philosophical roots, Art Deco was purely decorative style.
Helen Lamb currently lives in Canada with her husband Ay Jing, also a professional artist. Helen painting devotes much of his free time. She believes that passion and love for this style of art is a kind of merging Eastern and Western lifestyles.
